Afrin: Residents’ property is seized and forced to pay “royalty”

Local activists from Afrin said that the pharmacist “Khalil Murad” paid two million, five hundred thousand Syrian pounds to lift the seizure of his properties.

The pharmacist “Khalil Murad” is a resident of the village of Kafr Safra in Jenderes district. He was forced to pay that sum after the local council in Jenderes district seized his property without explaining the reasons.

Earlier, “Khalil” had also paid one million, five hundred thousand Syrian pounds to the “Samarkand” faction in exchange for evacuating his house, which the faction seized by force.
