Minbij disposes of mine remnants in cooperation with “The International Alliance”

The Internal Security Forces (ISF), in cooperation with the international coalition forces in Manbij, on Wednesday cleared some of the remnants of mines and shells left behind ISIS in the area to be exploded by remote detonation, which took place today in an unpopulated area in Al Matahen area south of Manbij.

An official media source told Aso news network that the amount of explosives that were disposed of amounted to ten mortar charges and several landmines manufactured locally and detonated for the safety of civilians.

The information office of the internal security forces in Manbij had announced earlier in the day to prepare for this destruction, pointing out that it will be between 2 and 3 pm today.
