A new massacre is being committed against the people of Maadan Atik town and the perpetrators are unknown, as the people of the town of Maadan Atik awoke this morning to the accident of finding the bodies of 8 unknown persons, including two women, who were killed in the town’s countryside under mysterious circumstances.

Eyewitnesses believe that the victims are from the towns of Maadan Atiq and Al-Muttaha, whose people graze sheep and others who are searching for truffles.
 
Activists in the area also confirmed that the gunmen stole the property and sheep of the victims.

This massacre is the third to occur in the southern countryside of Raqqa, which is under the control of the Syrian government. The last massacre occurred on February 21, 2020, and 21 civilians were killed.

The townspeople are skeptical about the perpetrator of the action, either ISIS or the Iranians, but no one has the evidence to condemn either of them.
