T Marbouta continues its awareness campaigns about Corona virus in Al-Hol camp

T-Marbouta team, on Thursday 30 April, in cooperation with the Free woman standing Team in Syria, continued its campaign to raise awareness about COVID-19, clarify symptoms and methods of infection and prevent it in Al-Hol camp.
This campaign is the fourth in this month, as 25 families (random tents) were targeted, from 4 separate communes in the first sector. In particular, a section targeting families with individuals with special needs was targeted.

The team toured the tents in the first sector, taking all preventive measures, and met with many of the families living in the camp, including the displaced and refugees, explaining to them the symptoms of the virus and ways to prevent it, in addition to the importance of social spacing and leaving a safety distance between individuals, especially during gatherings and in the markets.

In addition to spreading awareness about the Coronavirus, the team distributed, in particular, women and children, preventive supplies that included masks, gloves, and sterilizers, as well as educational brochures on how to prevent and prevent Coronavirus infection.

On the other hand, T-Marbouta team attached to the families presented the idea of making use of clean and unnecessary fabrics at home to make masks and paws, while keeping them washed after each use and keeping them clean, in the event that they are unable to purchase or the materials are not available in the camp, as a precautionary step Simple and inexpensive for prevention and protection, as the idea was greatly welcomed by women and the team promised to implement the idea.

During the tour of the communes and between tents, a number of men came during explaining the information to families, and thanked the team for its clarification and correcting of some misconceptions among the people due to the lack of interest in the subject of the virus and their lack of awareness of the seriousness of their words.

It is noteworthy that T- Marbouta targets Al-Hol camp in its awareness campaigns about Coronavirus once a week, and it continues to do so during the month of May.
